Therapeutic Garden at Mae S. Bruce Park

Mae S. Bruce Therapeutic Garden is a tranquil one-and-a-half-acre park located in the heart of Santa Fe with beautifully-landscaped green space and foliage. There also sits a small fountain, charming gazebo, exquisitely-crafted totem pole, and a historical marker detailing the origin of Santa Fe.

All of these quaint offerings make this the perfect spot to walk, relax, or sit in quiet reflection.

Feel like losing yourself in a book? You can also find a Little Free Library there! The Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book, and it functions on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. Also, if you have a book that you no longer want, consider leaving it at our Little Free Library for someone else to enjoy!

In 2020, the City of Santa Fe was awarded the Texas Municipal League (TML) Award for its collaborative efforts with Keep Santa Fe Beautiful to revitalize the underutilized formerly-named Mae S. Bruce Park into the aesthetic and functional therapeutic garden we have today!

Located behind Santa Fe City Hall at 12002 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, Texas.

You may contact Santa Fe City Hall at (409) 925-6412 if you have questions, concerns, or would like to make a reservation for an event at the park.
