On December 28, 2023, the Finance Department of the City of Santa Fe was awarded the Certificate of Achievement by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The GFOA's Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.

On January 2, 2024, the City of Santa Fe's Finance Department was awarded the Budget Recognition Award for Budget Year 2023-2024. This is the second year in a row that the City has been recognized for this distinguished accomplishment!

On February 7, 2024, the City of Santa Fe's Finance Department was awarded the Traditional Finance Star Award from the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts. This award is for exemplary efforts in creating financial transparency around public services and spending decisions.
