Proposition 1
On May 8, 2010 the City of Santa Fe will have a bond election for a new public safety building.
The proposition would set aside $4.82 million to build the new public safety
building (police station.)
The new police station would be near FM
646 and FM 1764. The police station would be about 11,000 square
feet, which would replace the antiquated 5,700 square feet building
the police officers occupy now.
The proposed isssuance of $4,820,000
in bonds for purchasing, acquiring, constructing, repairing and
improving land, facilities and public buildings, which includes
construction of a new police station.
